Baseball as America
VIP Transport was proud to be a part of The Baseball Hall of Fame road trip. The exhibition included a 10-city tour that began in Los Angeles at the American Museum of National History, and ended in Chicago. The exhibition was stored for a period of time in VIP Transports Corona, California location before being hauled in 7 climate trailers to its final destination. Some of the precious artifacts transported included:
- The games most sacred relic, the Doubleday Ball, from baseball’s mythic first game in 1839.
- Record setting bats from Mark McGuire, Babe Ruth, and Roger Maris. As well as Sammy Sosa’s bat from his home run chase in 1998.
- Norman Rockwell’s painting of The Three Umpires
The Dead Sea Scrolls
VIP Transport also hauled one of the most amazing artifacts in history; The Dead Sea Scrolls. The Scrolls are the oldest surviving biblical manuscripts existing today. They were discovered nearly half a century ago in eleven caves along the Northwest shore of The Dead Sea. They have been called the greatest manuscript discovery of modern times. Every precaution necessary was taken in the transportation of the precious artifacts. Due to the privacy and security needed for this account, VIP has kept all tour information confidential. The shipment was under 24-hour surveillance, and was police escorted with couriers.
