Plasma (flat screen) television sets are becoming quite common in households across America.  Not only are plasma television sets quite expensive, but they are quite susceptible to damage as well.  Because of their commonality and exquisiteness, VIP Transport, Inc. has prided itself in knowing, practicing, and following the guidelines of how to transport them properly. 

Here are a few guidelines that you can follow as well:

• The television set must be removed from the wall or television stand, and all wires and cables must be disconnected.  Also, if possible, the plasma television set should be placed in its original packaging.  If the original packaging is not available, the plasma television set must be wrapped and crated for maximum protection.  A qualified third party company can assist you in this preparation.
  
  
• Once the plasma television set is removed from the wall or television stand, it must remain in an upright position.  To avoid damage a plasma television set should never be laid flat. 
  
  
• If your plasma television set will be going into storage, please note that it should be stored in a climate controlled warehouse facility.  The temperature should never fall below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, or rise above 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
  
  
• If your plasma television set is not used for more than two months, you might get an unclear picture when turned back on again. 
  
  
• When your plasma television set is turned back on, you may hear a light buzzing sound.  You may also notice small dots on your television screen, which is due to a failed pixel.  Both problems are very common among plasma television sets, and do not indicate damage to your television set has been done due to transportation.
